NetSquared and Witness's Video Hub, and Genocide Intervention Network

NetSquared has created a Technology Innovation Fund. About 150 projects have been submitted on the site, and NetSquared is asking people to vote for 5 to 10 of the projects. They will then select 20 projects based upon the votes to focus on during the 2007 NetSquared conference in May.

Among the projects you can vote for are The Hub, a project that we are working on for Witness. The Hub will be an online destination for user contributed video highlighting human rights abuses.

Another organization that we've been impressed by and hope to work with in the future is the Genocide Intervention Network. They have submitted An Anti-Genocide Community: Building the Political Will to End Genocide. The project is to create a community website that empowers individuals to take action to stop genocide. GIN has specifically been working on stopping the Darfur Genocide.
