Module Monday: Views TWO needs YOU
Views 2 Alpha 2 has been released (and it kicks ass), but views is still many patches away from a stable fully-featured release. This is blocking many drupal 5 sites from upgrading to drupal 6. Earl Miles has laid the groundwork and is now calling on the community to help get views 2 out the door.
Download or CVS-checkout views 2, install it, try to replicate your favorite view and see what features are missing or broken -- there are plenty. You can help by;
- reporting, fixing or completing missing or broken features or UI issues
- suggesting UI tweaks
- documenting new features
- documenting or blogging changes to the API
- updating the handbook pages
- accessibility or cross-browser testing
- reviewing patches in the issue queue
This is an important milestone for views and drupal. Congratulations and thank you to Couzinhub from Raincity Studios and the usability group for a great UI design, and of course Earl Miles.

Views 2 running on my personal blog, drupal.geek.nz, has some obvious UI issues that wouldn't be too difficult for a relative newbie to views to work on.
