Flickr adds Search for Creative Commons Licensed Work
Submitted by GregoryHeller on May 21, 2006 - 5:25pm.
Flickr recently added search functionality that allows users to search for Creative Commons licensed photographs on their system.
This is great news for anyone looking to source photos from Flickr. Now you can just look for photos that bear acceptable licensing.

Hello Greg,
I thought you might be interested in FlickrLilli, which I wrote before Christmas to enable searching Flickr's Creative Commons content (the old Flickr interface only searched one license at a time). I'm sure they pinched my idea :) I still like using it, as I've made it pretty snappy and added some Web 2.0 (TM) goodness.
